 【畑日記 / Farm Diary】おくらさんと恵みの雨｜Waiting for the Rainy Season（2026年5月21日）

4月から続いた暑さに耐えながら、

時折の水やりを続けていたおくらさんも、

少しずつ成長しています。

ようやく梅雨に入り、

畑も恵みの雨を待っているようです。

雨が続きすぎるのも心配ですが、

乾いた土に水が染み込んでいく景色には、

少しほっとします。

自然の流れの中で、

お野菜さんたちも生きているのだと感じます。

The okra plants have continued to grow through the long early summer heat since April, with occasional watering along the way.

Now, the rainy season has finally arrived, and the field seems to be quietly waiting for gentle rain.

Too much rain can also be difficult, but seeing water slowly return to the dry soil brings a small sense of relief.

In the field, I am reminded that vegetables are living together with nature and time.
