 【畑日記 / Farm Diary】緑肥ひまわりさんの蕾｜Sunflowers Preparing to Bloom（2026年5月23日）

5/23（土）｜畑日記

緑肥として育てている、

ひまわりさん。

ようやく花をつけそうです。

まだ小さな蕾ですが、

少しずつ空へ向かって伸びていく姿を見ると、

夏が近づいていることを感じます。

これから畑の日陰になったり、

土を守ってくれたり、

いろいろな役目を果たしてくれるのだと思います。

咲く日が楽しみです。

The sunflowers grown as green manure are finally beginning to form flower buds.

Though still small, they continue reaching upward toward the sky little by little.

Watching them grow reminds me that summer is slowly approaching.

These sunflowers will help shade the field, protect the soil, and become part of the natural cycle of the garden.

I’m looking forward to seeing them bloom.
