 【畑日記 / Farm Diary】ブロッコリーさんから次の命へ｜Seeds Born from Nature’s Cycle（2026年5月21日）

5/21（木）｜畑日記

無消毒、固定種。

そして、

生ゴミをリサイクルして作った土の中で育った、

ブロッコリーさん。

たくさんの蕾を、

僕たちに分けてくれました。

その後、花を咲かせ、

やがて鞘になり、

今は少しずつ種になっていっています。

またこの種から、

次のブロッコリーさんが生まれるかもしれない。

そう思うと、

とても感慨深い気持ちになります。

自然の恵みと、

命の循環に感謝です。

These broccoli plants were grown from open-pollinated seeds, without chemical treatment, in soil made from recycled kitchen scraps.

They first shared many small florets with us.

Then they flowered, formed seed pods, and are now slowly becoming seeds once again.

Thinking that new broccoli plants may grow from these seeds brings a deep feeling of connection to the natural cycle of life.

I feel grateful for the quiet gifts and circulation of nature.
