【畑日記 / Farm Diary】ブロッコリーさんの種採り｜Saving Broccoli Seeds（2026年6月2日）

 6/2（火）｜畑日記

ブロッコリーの花が散り、

鞘になり、種をつけてくれました。

鞘も乾燥してきたので、

少しずつ種を採っています。

近くにはキャベツの花も咲いていたので、

交雑しているかもしれません。

どんなブロッコリーさんが育つのか、

次の種まきが楽しみです。

畑で種をつなぐ時間は、

自然の循環を感じるひとときでもあります。

The broccoli flowers have faded and formed seed pods, which have now begun to dry.

As the pods mature, I’ve started collecting the seeds little by little.

There were cabbage flowers blooming nearby, so the seeds may have cross-pollinated.

I’m looking forward to sowing them and seeing what kind of plants will grow next season.

Saving seeds is one of the moments that reminds me of nature’s quiet cycle of life.
