【畑日記 / Farm Diary】春じゃがいも「メークイン」の収穫｜Harvesting May Queen Potatoes（2026年5月23日）

春じゃがいもの、

メークインを収穫しました。

土の中から、

ひとつひとつ顔を出してくるじゃがいもさん。

掘り出すたびに、

どんな大きさで育っているのか分からず、

毎回少しわくわくします。

今年の暑さの中でも、

無事に育ってくれたことに感謝です。

またひとつ、

季節の恵みをいただきました。

Today, I harvested May Queen potatoes from the spring field.

Each potato slowly appeared from the soil as I dug through the earth.

Every harvest feels a little different, and there is always a quiet sense of excitement when discovering what has grown underground.

I’m grateful they were able to grow safely through this season’s early heat.

Another small gift from the field and the changing seasons.
