 【畑日記 / Farm Diary】きゅうりさんと梅雨入り｜Grass Mulch and Watering Through the Heat（2026年5月21日）

5/21（木）｜畑日記

種から育てたきゅうりさん。

暑さ対策として、

草マルチを敷きながら、

水やりを続けてきました。

5月とは思えない暑さの日もありましたが、

なんとか枯れることなく、

梅雨を迎えることができました。

雨が続きすぎるのも心配ですが、

乾いた畑にとっては、

少しほっとする季節でもあります。

これからどのように成長していくのか、

楽しみに見守っていきたいと思います。

The cucumbers grown from seed have made it through the early summer heat.

With grass mulch and careful watering, they managed to reach the rainy season without drying out.

Too much rain can also be difficult, but after the long dry days, the field seems quietly relieved.

I look forward to watching how they continue to grow from here.
