 【畑日記 / Farm Diary】里芋さんの暑さ対策｜Grass Mulch for Summer Heat（2026年5月21日）

暑さに弱い里芋さん。

苗の周りに、

緑肥や草マルチを敷いて、

夏の暑さ対策をしています。

強い日差しで土が熱を持ちすぎないように。

少しでも水分が保たれるように。

自然の力を借りながら、

ゆっくり畑を整えています。

里芋さんも、

少しずつ成長しています。

葉が風に揺れている姿を見ると、

夏へ向かう季節を感じます。

Taro plants are sensitive to strong summer heat.

To help protect them, I placed green manure plants and grass mulch around the soil.

The goal is to keep the ground cooler and help retain moisture during the hotter days ahead.

Little by little, the taro plants continue to grow.

Watching their leaves move gently in the wind quietly reminds me that summer is arriving.
